Generative AI Policy

Last Updated: September 4, 2025

Revuva Pty Ltd (“Revuva”) incorporates Generative Artificial Intelligence (“Generative AI”) features within its Services (as defined in our Terms & Conditions). These features are designed to improve efficiency, insights, and customer engagement. Generative AI is an enhancement, not a replacement, for Revuva’s Services or the human judgment required to use them effectively.

This Policy explains how Generative AI is used by Revuva, outlines client responsibilities, and sets the standards for lawful and ethical use of AI-driven functionality.

1. Legal and Compliance Standards

Revuva will ensure all AI-related activities are conducted in line with Australian law, industry standards, and our contractual commitments. Key principles include:

  • Privacy and Data Security

    • All AI features must comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

    • Personal and sensitive information will only be processed where necessary, and with safeguards to prevent misuse or unauthorised disclosure.

  • Non-Discrimination

    • AI outputs must not be used in ways that unlawfully discriminate on the basis of protected attributes (e.g., race, gender, disability, age).

  • Intellectual Property

    • AI content must not knowingly infringe on third-party intellectual property. Clients remain responsible for how they use and publish AI outputs.

  • Liability

    • Revuva accepts reasonable responsibility for the functioning of its AI features in accordance with this Policy. Nothing in this document limits statutory consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

2. Ethical Use of AI

Revuva is committed to ensuring Generative AI is used in ways that benefit clients and society. Ethical principles include:

  • Transparency – Users will be informed when AI features are in use and how data may be processed.

  • Fairness – Revuva will monitor AI features to minimise bias and ensure outputs are as objective as possible.

  • Human Oversight – AI is designed to support, not replace, human decision-making. Users should exercise their own judgment before relying on outputs.

  • Respect for Privacy – Confidential and personal data must only be used for legitimate purposes consistent with Revuva’s Privacy Policy.

3. Confidentiality and Data Use

  • Client Data – Information provided by Clients (including customer details, reviews, and communications) is treated as confidential and will only be used to deliver contracted Services.

  • No AI Training on Client Data – Revuva does not permit customer data to be used for training generalised AI models. Any third-party providers integrated into the platform (such as Google or messaging providers) are required to follow the same standard.

  • Secure Handling – Confidential data will be subject to access controls, encryption, and other safeguards in line with industry best practice.

4. Decision-Making and AI Limitations

Generative AI tools may assist with drafting, suggestions, or automation, but:

  • Clients remain ultimately responsible for reviewing and approving AI-generated outputs.

  • Revuva does not guarantee that AI outputs will be free from factual errors, bias, or unintended results.

  • AI features should not be used for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes.

5. Client Responsibilities

By using Revuva’s Services, Clients agree to:

  • Use AI outputs in compliance with applicable laws and industry standards.

  • Avoid using AI to generate misleading, discriminatory, or infringing content.

  • Ensure appropriate human review before relying on or publishing AI outputs.

6. Continuous Improvement

Revuva will continue to review and update its AI features and policies to align with evolving laws, regulations, and best practices. Changes to this Policy will be published on our website.
